Ready to start your Hebrew reading journey?
Join Rabbi Malka Haymer for an engaging introduction to the Hebrew alphabet and the foundational skills needed to begin reading Hebrew. Students will gradually learn to decode words from the Shabbat morning liturgy while gaining a deeper understanding of the structure and flow of the Shabbat morning service.

About Our Instructor:
Rabbi Malka Haymer is a Jewish educator, musician, and artist with a passion for making Hebrew learning accessible and engaging. After living in Jerusalem for more than two years, she received rabbinic ordination from the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies in 2025. Rabbi Malka specializes in adult Hebrew education, teaching both conversational Modern Hebrew and Biblical Hebrew reading and decoding skills.
